Waitin’ On A Heartache

It’s taken 15 minutes to drive 3 city blocks
The line is out the door when I get to the coffee shop
It seems all day every day I hurry up just to wait

I pulled into work circled around for a parking space
I down sit at my desk already need that cigarette break
I keep checking my phone still ain’t heard a word from you

I think last night’s still on my mind
I’m losing patience, wasting time

I’ve been waitin’ on a sign
Waitin’ on a kiss
Waitin’ on a sunny day
I’ve been waitin’ on forever
Waitin’g on your love
Waitin’g on you to change
I’ve been waitin’g on all the red lights to turn green
But if there’s one thing I can’t take its waitin’ on a heartache

I’m sitting here trying to figure out where we stand
I’m wondering why I’m the only one who gives a damn
I’m tired of waitin’ around for you to settle down and be a man
I just watch the clock tick away
Its time to quit this waitin’ game

I’m not waiting (on and on and on)
I’m not waiting (on and on and on)
I’m not waiting (on and on and on)
It keeps going on and on and on
